Night 1 - Johannesburg
On arrival at OR Thambo Airport (Jhb) you will be met by a representative who will transfer you to The Safari Club, which is located relatively close by. Accommodation has been booked for you at the Safari Club for 1 night.
The concept behind Safari Club SA is to offer personal service to all clients. Every room is carefully decorated to a specific area e.g. Kalahari room, Etosha room, Okavango room etc.

Night 2: Khama Rhino Sanctuary – Serowe, Botswana
This morning your guide will collect you from the airport or hotel, from where you will commence with your trek north-west to reach Khama Rhino Sanctuary in the mid-afternoon (8 hours driving). Over night accommodation has been booked for you for 1 night.
The Khama Rhino Sanctuary Trust is a community based wildlife project, established in 1992 to assist in saving the vanishing rhino, restore an area formerly teeming with wildlife to its previous natural state and provide economic benefits to the local Batswana community through tourism and the sustainable use of natural resources

Nights 3 & 4: Central Kalahari – Haina Safari Lodge
This morning your guide will give you an early wake-up call, in order for you to start your safari into the red sand dunes of the Kalahari. Your next stop is Haina Safari Lodge in Deception Valley, your tented home for the next 2 nights.
The setting of Haina Safari Lodge is classically African, relaxed and informal. The Main Boma consists of a lounge, dining room and bar area decorated in wood and thatch. A swimming pool, sun deck, well-appointed bar and an expansive boma eating area are among the facilities available to visitors. The sundeck is a popular spot for social activities and for exchanging accounts of the various sightings of birds and animals seen during the day. The Lodge accommodates up to 20 guests in tented accommodation which are all private with their own decks.

Day 3: The road to Haina Safari Lodge is long and sandy, thus it take most of the day to make your way to the lodge. En-route you may encounter animals dwelling this arid region and the scenery will make for great panoramic photographs. On arrival you will check in, freshen up and relax on the viewing deck or time permitting you will go for an afternoon game drive.
Day 4: Today you will visit a San community where you can interact with the local people. In the afternoon you go on a game drive through the Kalahari.
Nights 5, 6 & 7: Moremi & Okavango Delta – Mankwe Safari Lodge
Your personal guide will meet you at the Maun airport in Botswana. After assisting you with your luggage you will travel to Mankwe Lodge, where accommodation has been booked for you for 3 nights. (1 night on Mboma Island)
Deep in the African wilderness, Mankwe Bush Lodge sits amidst a landscape that will provide you with the true sense of southern Africa. Positioned on a slight incline within a forest area, you have a perfect view of the local mopani bush stretched out in front of you. After a long day spent viewing game, the lodge offers poolside relaxation or a refreshing drink at the bar. And as evening falls, drinks are served in a hide overlooking a waterhole, from where you are likely to see some of the many wildlife species in the area.

Day 5: After check in you will have time to freshen up before you depart of an afternoon game safari. In the evening you will enjoy a good dinner and have the opportunity to talk to the rangers about their experiences in Africa. Back in you room will fall asleep with the sounds of the bush in the background.
From Haina to Mankwe will take you approximately 4 hours. See if you cannot do a last morning game drive at Haina before departure to Mankwe.
Guests arrive at Mankwe Bush Lodge for a self drive, fully catered no activities stay. Night drive booked. CASH BAR.
Day 6: On the second day of your visit to Moremi you will have a sleep out on a Delta Island. Mboma is a pristine island in the heart of the Moremi. You will simply climb on the boat and be taken to your mobile camp with beds, mattresses and linen. The overnight accommodation is fully catered, with bucket showers and field toilets. The boat and guide stay with you at all times. This experience will give you an appreciation for the simple pleasures of doing a real safari. In the Delta your time will be spent doing boat based game viewing in a mokoro with a poler.
An early breakfast will be served so that our guests can get a head start for a full day game drive into the Moremi National Park. Our experienced guide and safari vehicle will take them through South Gate and sightings may include lion, leopard, buffalo and packs of wild dog. The reserve is also home to plains of zebra and a variety of buck, including the red lechwe. A picnic lunch and cool box will be pre-packed by the camp’s chef.
At Mboma Boat station guests will enjoy a two hour Mokoro excursion and then board a motorboat for the Island.

Day 7: You will head back to Mankwe Bush lodge after breakfast. Along the way you will have another chace to see more of the wildlife of the Moremi. Back at the Lodge you will check into your rooms again and afterwards you can just relax and take in the spectacular views of Botswana..
Nights 8 & 9: Makgadikgadi Pans – Planet Baobab
Today you will depart from Moremi and venture to another exciting destination – Makgadikgadi Pans. A Bakalanga Hut has been booked for you for 2 nights.
The Makgadikgadi Pans are indescribably vast. These ancient salt lake pans, stretch as far as the eye can see and are bordered with grasslands hosting herds of wildlife. Welcome to the Baobab capital of the world and home of the Kalahari Surf Club!The average age of each tree; 4000 years and beyond, the boundless salt pans of the Makgadikgadi, a lunar landscape the size of Switzerland.Thankfully, the funkiest bar and the coolest pool in the Kalahari await your pleasure. Planet Baobab is a well known watering hole for travellers of every description and the more colourful characters from Maun. At any one time, locals jostle the cross-continentals who have slogged it through the bush, and worse, to get here. Just a stone's throw from all this beer and bustle is the elephant's paddling pool. Oblivious to Guests crouching in the nearby trees, the elephants and travellers mostly ignore each other. At Planet Baobab, you can sleep in traditionally styled Bakalanga huts with en suite showers, curl up in a Baobab hut which share the best ablution blocks you'll ever see or pitch your tent, or park your 4 x 4. You can light your own camp fire, or gather round the communal blaze in the lelwapa and enjoy a cool drink, then sling your own boerewors onto the fire or enjoy Planet Baobab's unique Pan-African cuisine.

Day 8: The trek to Makgadikgadi is a long one. Most of the day will be spent driving to Makgadikgadi Pans, but once you arrive, you will understand why so many people take the effort to drive to this destination. After checking in, you will have the rest of the day at leisure to relax by the pool of enjoy drinks at the local pub. Day 9 : In the morning your guide will pack the vehicle and take you on a full day expedition to the Pans. This moon landscape will take you breath away.
Nights 10 & 11:– Chobe– Chobe Safari Lodge
Today you will travel to Kasane in northern Botswana. Accommodation has been reserved for you for 2 nights at Chobe Safari Lodge.
Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of Chobe River and sharing a border with Chobe National Park. Right on our doorstep four African countries meet ( Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia), Chobe Safari Lodge therefore offers an excellent getaway location to Chobe, Victoria Falls or Caprivi.

The Chobe region is home to the largest population of wild elephant in the world. This is estimated to be approximately 120,000 individuals. Their sometimes daily passage takes them from Zimbabwe through the Chobe and on into Namibia before returning.
Day 10: On arrival at Chobe Safari Lodge you will have the afternoon at leisure. Day 11 : Today you will go on a morning game experience with a twist – game view by boat. Being on a boat allows you to get very close to animals – be sure to encounter elephant and antelope on the river banks and hippo’s and croc’s in the river. In the afternoon when the sun’s heat has subsided you will go on an afternoon game drive in Chobe National Park. In the evening you will relax at the lodge.
Nights 12 : Livingstone – Zambezi Sun Hotel

Day 12: This morning you will say good bye to your guide before your transfer to Livingstone. The drive between Kasane and Livingstone is not far, but you need to go through the border crossing and take the ferry to get to Zambia. The whole experience is very interesting and should; not take too long. On arrival in Livingstone you will make your way to Zambezi Sun, located a stone’s through from the Falls. Vic Falls is the adventure capital of Africa so it should not be difficult to find an activity that you want to do. Alternatively you can relax at the Hotel’s pool. The Hotel offers guest free access to the Falls, via a footpath that runs along the river. You will thus have ample opportunity to visit the Falls during your stay in Livingstone. The Hotel offers an Activity Desk where you can book a range of adrenalin activities (for your own account).

Day 13 - Departure
All too soon your safari in Africa will reach its end. You will be transferred to Livingstone Airport, from where you will fly back to Johannesburg in South Africa. Your heart will be filled with many good memories of this adventure, and you will be anxious to get home to show your families & friends your stunning photographs and tell them your stories of Africa.
